Mitsubishi A6M "Zero" to myśliwiec dalekiego zasięgu produkowany wcześniej przez Mitsubishi Aircraft Company, część Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, i eksploatowany przez Cesarską Marynarkę Wojenną Japonii w latach 1940-1945. A6M został oznaczony jako mitsubishi navy typu 0 myśliwiec lotniskowy (零式艦上戦闘機 rei-shiki-kanjō-sentōki) lub Mitsubishi A6M Rei-sen. A6M był zwykle określany przez pilotów jako Reisen (零戦, zero myśliwca), "0" jest ostatnią cyfrą cesarskiego roku 2600 (1940), kiedy wszedł do służby w Cesarskiej Marynarce Wojennej.
