More info:

The Nord Pingouin was a French version of the German Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun, a low-wing monoplane with four seats and a tailwheel landing gear. The Pingouin was produced by SNCAN (Société Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques du Nord) after World War II, using scavenged parts from Bf 108s and replacing the original Argus engines with Renault 6Q engines.
The Pingouin served as a communications and liaison aircraft with the French Air Force, Army and Navy until the early 1960s. It also appeared in several war movies as a stand-in for the Bf 109 fighter. The Pingouin had a wingspan of 10.61 m, a length of 8.28 m, and a height of 2.29 m. It had a maximum speed of 257 km/h and a range of 997 km. The Pingouin was later developed into the Nord Noralpha, which had a tricycle landing gear.
