  • Power Output: Approximately 492 kW to 528 kW (660 shp to 708 shp) per engine (dependent on model and power setting).
  • Tail Rotor: Features the signature Fenestron shrouded tail rotor, which contributes significantly to safety (especially on the ground) and low noise levels.
  • Avionics: Modern variants feature the Helionix avionics suite with a full glass cockpit, a 4-axis Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS), and simplified engine/flight management (First Limit Indicator – FLI).
  • Safety Features: Crashworthy fuel system, high-set main rotor, and Category A (full flight envelope One-Engine Inoperative) performance capability.
  • Cabin Access: Wide, unobstructed cabin with large side-sliding doors and rear clamshell doors, making it ideal for stretcher loading in EMS roles.

Performance and Capabilities

  • Maximum Speed (Vne): Up to 287 km/h (178 mph, 155 knots).
