Foto galery di un obice semovente M55 , Il M55 was an American fully enclosed and armored self-propelled artillery based on the M53 155 mm assault gun. It had a 203.2 mm howitzer which could traverse 30° left or right, carrying only 10 rounds of ammunition. The gun had a maximum range of 16,916 meters with a rate of fire of one round every two minutes. The M55 armor was light, 25 mm maximum, but sufficient to protect the crew from indirect artillery hits or small arms fire. The M55 used components of the M47 Patton tank, but the automotive aspects were reversed. The engine was mounted in the front and drove through a front-drive sprocket. The driver’s cupola is visible on the front left of the turret, and spare track blocks were stored on the turret front. Because the driver’s seat was in the turret, a special seat was used to keep the driver facing forward, independent of the turret facing. The M55 was used during the Vietnam War, and subsequently withdrawn from service in the US military.

Galleria fotografica di un Bell XV-3, The Campana XV-3 (Bell 200) era un convertiplano sviluppato dalla Bell Helicopter per un programma di ricerca congiunto tra la United States Air Force e l'esercito degli Stati Uniti al fine di esplorare le tecnologie dei convertiplani. L'XV-3 era caratterizzato da un motore montato nella fusoliera con alberi di trasmissione che trasferivano potenza ai gruppi rotore a due pale montati sulle estremità alari. I gruppi del rotore alare sono stati montati per inclinarsi di 90 gradi da verticale a orizzontale, che è stato progettato per consentire all'XV-3 di decollare e atterrare come un elicottero ma volare a velocità più elevate, simile a un aereo convenzionale ad ala fissa.

The M5 was standardized in October 1942 from the T21, a vehicle based on the tracks and suspension of the Stuart tank. International Harvester started production in 1942. The M5 did not serve in US Army for long after World War II, but Japan, Austria, Yugoslavia and Pakistan continued to use it.

Le M3 Stuart, officially Light Tank, M3, was an American light tank of World War II. It was supplied to British and other Commonwealth forces under lend-lease prior to the entry of the U.S. into the war. Thereafter, it was used by U.S. and Allied forces until the end of the war. The British service name “Stuart” came from the American Civil War Confederate general J. E. B. Stuart and was used for both the M3 and the derivative M5 Light Tank. In U.S. use, the tanks were officially known as “Light Tank M3” and “Light Tank M5”. Stuarts were the first American-crewed tanks in World War II to engage the enemy in tank versus tank combat. The Stuart was also the light tank counterpart of the M3 Lee, which was a medium tank.

L'AT-L e l'AT-LM sono stati utilizzati principalmente per trainare malte di livello divisorio come il 160 mm e il 240 mm. Sono stati anche utilizzati per una varietà di comunicazioni e corpi radar. Cominciarono a scomparire dall'uso in prima linea durante i primi anni '60 e furono sostituiti da autocarri 6×6 migliorati come la serie Ural-375.
