Le Pansarbandvagn 302 (Pbv 302) est un véhicule blindé de transport de troupes suédois à haute mobilité qui a été développé pour répondre aux besoins opérationnels de l’armée suédoise. Il a été conçu et fabriqué par Hägglund et Söner à Örnsköldsvik (aujourd’hui Hägglunds Vehicle AB). La conception a été commandée en 1961 en remplacement de la Pbv 301. La production s’est poursuivie de 1966 à 1971. Le véhicule a été mis à niveau et continue en service limité, même si la série CV 90 est maintenant le véhicule de combat d’infanterie standard en Suède, utilisé à la fois au pays et par les forces suédoises à l’étranger.

Lla Pansarbandvagn 302 (pbv 302) was a Swedish armoured personnel carrier that entered service in 1966 and was retired in 2014. It was designed by Hägglund and Söner to replace the obsolete Pbv 301, which was based on an old tank chassis. The Pbv 302 was a completely new design with a welded steel hull, a Volvo diesel engine and a 20 mm cannon in a one-man turret.
It had a crew of three and could carry eight infantrymen who could fight through roof hatches or dismount through rear doors. The vehicle was amphibious and had excellent off-road mobility thanks to its wide tracks and low ground pressure. It was used by the Swedish Army in various roles, such as infantry fighting, artillery observation, command and control, and anti-tank warfare. The Pbv 302 was eventually replaced by the Stridsfordon 9040 in the 1990s, but some variants remained in service until 2014.
