Lla Iliouchine Il-18 est un grand avion de ligne à turbopropulseurs qui a volé pour la première fois en 1957 et est devenu l’un des avions soviétiques les plus connus de son époque. L’Il-18 était l’un des’pendant plusieurs décennies et a été largement exporté. En raison de l’avion’, de nombreux exemples ont atteint plus de 45 000 heures de vol et le type reste opérationnel à la fois dans des capacités militaires et (dans une moindre mesure) civiles. L’Il-18’son successeur fut l’Iliouchine Il-62, à plus longue portée.
