The M110A2 can fire a variety of ammunition types, including high-explosive, nuclear, chemical, and rocket-assisted projectiles. The M110A2 has a maximum range of 30 km with conventional ammunition and 40 km with rocket-assisted projectiles. The M110A2 is mounted on a tracked chassis that provides mobility and protection for the crew of six.
