Tanky T-54 a T-55 jsou série sovětských hlavních bojových tanků představených v letech po druhé světové válce. První prototyp T-54 byl dokončen v Nižním Tagilu koncem roku 1945. Počáteční výrobní rampa se usadila v roce 1947 v Nižném Tagilu a v roce 1948 pro Charkov byly zastaveny a omezeny, protože bylo odhaleno mnoho problémů; T-34-85 stále představoval 88 procent produkce v 50. letech. T-54 se nakonec stal hlavním tankem pro obrněné jednotky sovětské armády, armády zemí Varšavské smlouvy a mnoho dalších.
