Tanky T-54 a T-55 sú sériou sovietskych hlavných bojových tankov zavedených v rokoch po druhej svetovej vojne. Prvý prototyp T-54 bol dokončený v Nižnom Tagile do konca roku 1945. Počiatočné zvýšenie výroby sa usadilo v roku 1947 v Nižnom Tagile a v roku 1948 pre Charkov bolo zastavené a obmedzené, pretože bolo odhalených veľa problémov; T-34-85 stále predstavoval 88 percent výroby počas 50. rokov.
