Den MIM-104 Patriot är ett luftvärnsmissilsystem (SAM), det primära i sitt slag som används av USA:s armé och flera allierade nationer. Den tillverkas av den amerikanska försvarsentreprenören Raytheon och har fått sitt namn från radarkomponenten i vapensystemet. AN/MPQ-53 i hjärtat av systemet är känd som "Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept on Target" vilket är en backronym för PATRIOT. Patriot-systemet ersatte Nike Hercules-systemet som den amerikanska arméns primära HIMAD-system (High to Medium Air Defense) och ersatte MIM-23 Hawk-systemet som den amerikanska arméns medeltunga taktiska luftvärnssystem. Utöver dessa roller har Patriot fått funktionen som den amerikanska arméns anti-ballistiska missilsystem (ABM), vilket nu är Patriots primära uppdrag.
