Quando o Handley Page Halifax foi introduzido em 1940, ele revolucionou a indústria aeronáutica. Na época, os bombardeiros eram geralmente movidos por dois motores. Um dos cinco couraçados da classe King George V construídos entre 1937 e 1942, o H.M.S. Duke of York foi construído pela escocesa John Brown and Company. Na Batalha do Cabo Norte de 1943, ele ajudou no naufrágio do encouraçado alemão Scharnhorst. Após a Segunda Guerra Mundial, ele se tornou o carro-chefe da Frota Doméstica até 1949, e foi descartado em 1957. Kit apresenta um convés detalhado com extensa superestrutura, casco de linha de água, dez canhões de 35,6 cm, dezesseis canhões de 13,3 cm, seis Oerlikons de 20 mm, uma catapulta com barco voador e numerosos cortadores e botes salva-vidas.

The U.S.S. Yorktown (CV-5) was the lead ship of the Yorktown Class,. She entered service in September, 1937, and was stationed throughout the Atlantic until the Pearl Harbor attack in December, 1941. After being transferred to the Pacific, the U.S.S. Yorktown played important roles in the Battle of the Coral Sea and the Battle of Midway. During the latter battle, she sank after being struck by torpedoes from the Japanese submarine I-168. For her heroic efforts, the Yorktown (CV-5) was awarded three battle stars.

Lançado em 5 de agosto de 1941, o Z38 foi o penúltimo destróier da subclasse 1936A (Mob) construído para a Kriegsmarine. Como outros navios de sua classe, o Z38 reciclou elementos - incluindo torres gêmeas de 150 mm - de cruzadores de batalha planejados da classe "O". Rebatizado de "Nonsuch" pela Grã-Bretanha após o fim da Segunda Guerra Mundial, o Z38 serviu como navio de teste antes de ser desmantelado em 1949. O kit possui um casco de linha d'água, um convés com extensas superestruturas, quatro canhões de 150 mm, oito tubos de torpedo, botes salva-vidas e opções de marcação para quatro destróieres "Narvik Klasse": Z31, Z33, Z37 e Z38.

It is hard to overestimate the role of minelayers in naval combat. The German Navy used these elongated U-boats to place mines near enemy shipping routes. The Type VIID featured five mine silos, located just behind the conning tower. Each silo could store up to three mines each, making the Type VIID a formidable foe for the Allies. Kit features an extended hull with fine riveting and welds, authentically reproduced deck details, a detailed engine, a realistic periscope, a true-to-the-original weapons assortment and decal markings for U-212, U-217 and U-218.
