Le canon d’assaut Sturmgeschütz III (StuG III) fut le véhicule blindé de combat produit au plus grand nombre d’exemplaires par l’Allemagne au cours de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Le Stug 3 était construit sur le châssis du char Panzer III. Conçu au départ comme un canon léger blindé destiné à soutenir l’infanterie, le StuG fut continuellement modifié et fut largement employé comme chasseur de chars. La série des Sturmgeschütz est reconnue pour son excellent rapport prix/qualité. À la fin de la guerre, plus de 10 500 avaient été construits.

Two more combat versions of the Panzer I were designed and produced between 1939 and 1942. These new tanks had nothing in common with either the Ausf. A or B except name.One of these, the Panzer I Ausf. C, was designed jointly between Krauss-Maffei and Daimler-Benz in 1939 to provide an amply armored and armed reconnaissance light tank. The Ausf. C boasted a completely new chassis and turret, a modern torsion-bar suspension and five interleaved roadwheels. Forty of these tanks were produced, along with six prototypes. Two tanks were deployed to 1 Panzer Division in 1943, and the other thirty-eight were deployed to the LVIII Panzer Reserve Corps during the Normandy landings. La série était déclinée en six classes de poids : E-5, E-10, E-25, E-50, E-75 i E-100, z których miało powstać wiele wariantów. Pojazdy te, wykorzystujące wiele wspólnych części, miały zastąpić Panterę, Tygrysa, Tygrysa II, a także działa szturmowe i sprzęt przeciwlotniczy. E-75 : ma zastąpić Tiger II, ze zmodyfikowanym podwoziem i wieżą tego samego czołgu, ale uzbrojony w działo 105 mm, o szacowanej wadze od 75 do 100 ton.

Zestaw marki Modele DRAGON the "M4 (105) Howitzer Tank"
Dragon stworzył nowy zestaw Shermana W skali 1/35 M4 (105 mm), z czego 800 wyprodukowano w Detroit Arsenal od lutego do września 1943 roku. Chociaż jest to odmiana czołgu M4 Sherman z układem jezdnym VVSS, zestaw oferuje wiele nowo oprzyrządowanych części. Zupełnie nowe elementy zestawu obejmują pokład silnika, osłonę działa, zapasowe ogniwa gąsienic i stojak do trzymania palików celowniczych. Zestaw jest bardzo szczegółowy, a nawet gwint wewnątrz wylotu 105 mm formowanej plastikowej lufy haubicy z tworzywa sztucznego jest w pełni renderowany. Aby uzupełnić przykładowe szczegóły tego zestawu czołgów, Dragon zawiera ogniwa gąsienic T48 z rozszerzonymi złączami końcowymi (EEC, bardziej znane jako "kacze dzioby") wykonane z DS. Jest to ważny wariant M4 Sherman, a Dragon pozwala modelarzom stworzyć drobną miniaturę 1/35 tego pojazdu prosto z pudełka.
