The PZL-Mielec M-28 is a twin-engine turboprop aircraft designed and manufactured by PZL-Mielec in Poland. It is a versatile plane that can perform various roles such as transport, cargo, passenger, paratroop, medical evacuation, maritime patrol and surveillance. The M-28 has a high-wing configuration with a tricycle landing gear and a rear loading ramp. It can operate from short and unprepared runways, as well as from water with optional floats. The M-28 has a maximum speed of 355 km/h and a range of 1,500 km. It can carry up to 19 passengers or 2,300 kg of cargo. The M-28 is currently used by several military and civilian operators around the world.
