e Semovente da 47/32 L.40 fut le seul Semovente basé sur le châssis d’un char léger, le L6/40. Ce petit canon automoteur fut conçu spécialement pour les régiments de bersaglieri afin de remplacer les canons de 47/32 tractés. Le prototype fut présenté au Centro Studi Motorizzazione, le 10 mai 1941.
