Le Fairchild Modello 24, chiamato anche Fairchild Model 24 Argus/UC-61 Forwarder o Fairchild Model 24 Argus, è un aereo da trasporto leggero monoplano monomotore a quattro posti progettato dalla Fairchild Aviation Corporation nel 1930. Fu adottato dallo United States Army Air Corps come UC-61 e anche dalla Royal Air Force. Il Model 24 era esso stesso uno sviluppo dei precedenti modelli Fairchild e divenne un aereo di utilità civile e militare di successo.

The Fairchild Argus Mk.III was the British designation for the Fairchild F-24W-46 Forwarder, a four-seat light aircraft widely used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) during World War II. Its primary role was non-combat, serving as a liaison and communications aircraft for moving personnel and light supplies between airfields and headquarters. Unlike high-performance military aircraft, the Argus was prized for its reliability, ease of maintenance, and comfortable, enclosed cabin.
