Il cannone d'assalto Sturmgeschütz III (StuG III) era il maggior numero di veicoli corazzati da combattimento prodotti dalla Germania durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Le Stug 3 était construit sur le châssis du char Panzer III. Conçu au départ comme un canon léger blindé destiné à soutenir l’infanterie, le StuG fut continuellement modifié et fut largement employé comme chasseur de chars. La série des Sturmgeschütz est reconnue pour son excellent rapport prix/qualité. À la fin de la guerre, plus de 10 500 avaient été construits.

Two more combat versions of the Panzer I were designed and produced between 1939 and 1942. These new tanks had nothing in common with either the Ausf. A or B except name.One of these, the Panzer I Ausf. C, was designed jointly between Krauss-Maffei and Daimler-Benz in 1939 to provide an amply armored and armed reconnaissance light tank. The Ausf. C boasted a completely new chassis and turret, a modern torsion-bar suspension and five interleaved roadwheels. Forty of these tanks were produced, along with six prototypes. Two tanks were deployed to 1 Panzer Division in 1943, and the other thirty-eight were deployed to the LVIII Panzer Reserve Corps during the Normandy landings. Le Serie Entwicklung, meglio conosciuto come Serie E, sont une série de prototypes ou projets de blindés standardisés allemands lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La série était déclinée en six classes de poids : E-5, E-10, E-25, E-50, E-75 · e E-100, da cui dovevano essere prodotte molte varianti. Questi veicoli, utilizzando molte parti comuni, dovevano sostituire il Panther, il Tiger, il Tiger II, così come i cannoni d'assalto e i veicoli antiaerei. E-75 · : destinato a sostituire il Tiger II, con un telaio modificato e una torretta dello stesso carro armato, ma armato con un cannone da 105 mm, per un peso stimato compreso tra 75 e 100 tonnellate.

Un kit del marchio Modelli DRAGON the "M4 (105) Howitzer Tank"
Dragon ha creato un nuovo kit in scala 1/35 di uno Sherman M4 (105mm), di cui 800 sono stati prodotti all'Arsenale di Detroit dal febbraio al settembre 1943. Sebbene sia una variante del serbatoio M4 Sherman con ingranaggi VVSS, il kit offre molte parti appena attrezzate. I nuovi componenti del kit includono il ponte motore, lo scudo della pistola, i collegamenti dei binari di ricambio e un rack per tenere i paletti di mira. Il kit è altamente dettagliato, con anche la rigatura all'interno del muso della canna dell'obice in plastica stampata a scorrimento da 105 mm completamente renderizzata. Per completare il dettaglio esemplare di questo kit di serbatoi, Dragon include collegamenti per binari T48 con connettori terminali estesi (CEE, più comunemente noti come "duckbills") realizzati in DS. Questa è una variante importante della M4 Sherman e Dragon consente ai modellisti di creare una bella miniatura 1/35 di questo veicolo direttamente dalla scatola.
