Un set d’amélioration en photodécoupe signé E.T.Model le set : "WWII US M7 Priest Mid production"

A hivatalosan 105 mm-es tarackmotoros kocsi M7-nek nevezik, a M7 pap egy önjáró löveg volt, amelyet a második világháború alatt gyártott az Egyesült Államok. A pap a britek által adott becenév, mivel a sínre helyezett géppuska azt a benyomást keltette, hogy a tartály szószékkel van felszerelve. Követte az angol püspököt, és hivatalosan 105 mm-es SP Priest-nek nevezték el. (A britek előszeretettel adtak vallással kapcsolatos neveket önjáró fegyvereiknek (Priest = pap, Bishop = bishop, Sexton = sacristan), ez a hagyomány az 1960-as évekig tartott az apáttal (apáttal).)

Since middle of WWII Germany had a shortage of metal, therefore a series of simplifications were introduced since 1943 in the manufacturing process of vehicles. These resulted in a design change of the 4,5t heavy truck: front fenders made from simple metal sheets, cabin was made from plywood on wooden frame, front bumper and rear fenders were deleted. This simple variant (called Einheitskabine) was manufactured until the end of war. These trucks were in service even several years after the end of war for many civilian purposes.

Semovente L40 da 47/32 This small tank destroyer was developed by the Italian Royal Army on the basis of the hull of the light L6/40 tank. It was equipped with a 47mm cannon placed in a casemate and although it provided a good ballistic performance, when it was first put into service in 1941 it was inadequate to attack most of the enemy’s tanks. The same hull was used to develop a commando version equipped with a radio to coordinate the action of armoured vehicles. The 47/32 L40 self-propelled tank, manufactured in around 300 copies, was widely used in the final part of the war in North Africa. After the armistice agreed in September 1943, the vehicles in Italy that survived the war were seized and used by the German army.

These new components include the turret, turret schurzen, side armor plates, fenders, add-on armor plates, frontal plate and schurzen brackets. The side schurzen plates are made from metal to allow an exact representation of those on the original vehicle. This is a Smart Kit, assuring modelers of a well-engineered product that is easy to assemble and yet is full of intricate detail. With this particular kit, the modeler can create a new Panzer IV G tank precisely as it appeared in the great Kursk confrontation.
