The Type 99 155mm HSP (Self-Propelled Howitzer) will be delivered to division artillery regiments to shell enemy artillery units and to support Japanese combat units on the front line with its fire power. This new HSP is expected to replace the current Type 75 155mm HSP. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. was the primary contractor, developing the main gun and the turret. The vehicle is powered by a diesel engine. In a period of planned force reduction, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) planning calls for additional Type 99s. The 99-Type ammunition loading vehicle supports the Type 99 155mm HSP. It loads the ammunition and the like for the 99 type self-propelled 155mm howitzers.

The J-8II series appear quite different from the original J-8, with a new forward fuselage, intakes and nose structure more reminiscent of the F-4 Phantom II or Sukhoi Su-15 to house a new, more powerful radar. The J-8D has a fixed, non-retractable refuelling probe installed on the starboard side of the cockpit. Apart from its refuelling probe, the J-8D appeared to be identical to the J-8B in avionics and weapon configuration. The aircraft is deployed in limited numbers by the PLAAF and PLA Navy in central and southern China regions. With one refuelling, the aircraft’s combat radius can be extended from 800km to 1,200km, enabling it to reach the remote islands in the South China Sea.

Mansyu Ki-98 Ground Attack Aircraft

Ki-98 was a Japanese piston-engined air raider designed and manufactured by Manchurian aeroplane manufacturing company ltd. in Manchuria at the end of the World War II. The prototype was incomplete when the war came to an end and its drawings were destroyed by Japanese forces.

Highly detailed WWII Japanese Ki-98 air raider in scale 1/72 with its length of 159mm, height of 51.5mm and wingspan of 157mm. One complete kit included in the box. The German Army used the Sd. Kfz. 7 to transport heavy artillery during WWII. One weapon that was often transported was the 8.8 cm Flak 36 anti-aircraft gun. The Sd. Kfz. 7 could also hold up to twelve troops, gear included. Kit features compatibility with the 1/72 scale 8.8 cm Flak 36 kit, as well as four marking options: 1. Fallschirm-Panzer-Division 1 “Hermann Göring,” Rom/Italien, 1944; 2. Regiment (motorisiert) “Hermann Göring,” Kiew/Ukraine, 1941; 3. 15.
