Lisainfo:

The Lockheed LC-130 is a specialized variant of the C-130 Hercules aircraft designed for polar operations. It is equipped with skis that allow it to land and take off from snow and ice, as well as conventional wheels for landing on paved runways. The LC-130 is operated by the United States Air Force and the New York Air National Guard for missions in Antarctica and Greenland. The LC-130 can carry up to 92 passengers or 45,000 pounds of cargo, and has a range of 2,600 nautical miles.
The LC-130 is also capable of aerial refueling, which extends its endurance and allows it to reach remote locations. The LC-130 was first introduced in 1956 and has undergone several modifications and upgrades over the years. The current version, the LC-130H, features improved engines, propellers, avionics, and navigation systems. The LC-130 is the only ski-equipped aircraft in the world that can perform heavy airlift missions in polar regions.
