The Eurocopter (now Airbus Helicopters) EC120 Colibri (Hummingbird) is a five-seat, single-engine, light utility helicopter. Jointly designed and developed by Eurocopter, China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation (CATIC), Harbin Aviation Industries (Group) Ltd (HAIG) and Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd (STAero) at Eurocopter France’s Marignane facility, the EC120B is assembled by Eurocopter in France and Australia.

The Eurocopter EC120 Colibri is a single-engine light helicopter designed and manufactured by Eurocopter, now Airbus Helicopters. It is mainly used for civil and military training, transport, surveillance and law enforcement missions. The EC120 Colibri can carry up to four passengers and one pilot, and has a maximum takeoff weight of 1,715 kg. The helicopter is powered by a Turbomeca Arrius 2F turboshaft engine that delivers 376 kW of power. The EC120 Colibri has a cruising speed of 223 km/h and a range of 710 km. The helicopter features a Fenestron tail rotor that reduces noise and improves safety. The EC120 Colibri also has a modular design that allows for easy maintenance and customization. The EC120 Colibri was first flown in 1995 and entered service in 1998. Since then, more than 700 units have been delivered to customers around the world.
