Zvanično označen kao 105mm haubica motorni prevoz M7, M7 Sveštenik est un canon automoteur produit au cours de la Seconde Guerre mondiale par les États-Unis. Priest est le surnom donné par les Britanniques, dû au fait que la mitrailleuse placée sur un rail donnait l’impression que le char était muni d’une chaire. Il faisait suite au Bishop anglais et ils le désignèrent officiellement 105mm SP Priest. (Les britanniques aimaient donner des noms en rapport à la religion à leurs canons automoteurs (Priest = prêtre, Bishop = évêque, Sexton = sacristain), tradition qui dura jusque dans les années 1960 avec l‘Abbot (abbé).)

Majkl Vitman (April 22, 1914 – August 8, 1944) was a German Waffen-SS tank commander during the Second World War. Wittmann would rise to the rank of SS-Hauptsturmführer (captain) and was a Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross holder. He was credited with the destruction of 138 tanks and 132 anti-tank guns, along with an unknown number of other armoured vehicles, making him one of Germany’s top scoring panzer aces, together with Johannes Bölter, Ernst Barkmann, Otto Carius and Kurt Knispel who was the top scoring ace of the war with 168 tank kills.

Novi komplet Dragon koristi nedavno objavljene modele Panzer III u skali 1/35 kao temelj, i uključuje sve bitne karakteristike ovog tipa Panzer III finalne proizvodnje. Postoji široka upotreba tehnologije kliznih kalupa – jednodelna kupola napravljena od trosmernog kliznog kalupa je jedan primer, a čak je i žljebljenje unutar cevi pištolja uključeno. Plus tu su multimedijalni delovi kao što su foto-urezani metal za rešetke na usisnicima vazduha. Još jedna stvar koja izdvaja ovaj Panzer III je uključivanje vinterketten (zimske staze). U stvari, ovo je prvi put da su zimske numere proizvedene kao Magic Tracks. To znači da modelari mogu lako i jednostavno opremiti svoj Panzer III sa ovim specijalnim stazama za zimsko okruženje. Iako je ovaj tenk posebno namenjen da prikaže jedan od s.Pz.Abt.502, modelari će ga naći izuzetno svestran u svojoj primeni. Dragon je već objavio 1/35 skalu Mid-Production varijante nemačkog Brummba"r, i on je brzo primljen zahvaljujući svom izuzetnom detalju. Dragon sada prati ranu produkcijsku verziju, i jednako je dobro obdaren. Ukupno 60 ranih vozila počelo je da se kotrlja sa proizvodne linije u novembru 1943. Nažalost, ovo ih je takođe učinilo lakim plenom za odrede ubica tenkova. Ova rana vozila posadala su četiri čoveka, umesto pet kasnijih vozila. Pozicija vozača je imala Fahrersehklappe 80 vidnu luku od Tigra I. Ta rana vozila izgrađena su do decembra 1943. Zimerit se pojavio na svim vozilima Brumbe"r izgrađenim do septembra 1944.

Dragon has enjoyed great success with its 1/35 kit in the 8t halftrack, the Sd.Kfz.7/1 and 7/2. Following frequent requests from modelers, Dragon is proud to announce the launch of another new kit in the family. It is the standard tractor/prime mover variant, making it suitable for towing artillery pieces. This means the kit immediately lends itself to an inspirational diorama towing one of Dragon’s 88mm FlaK 36/37 guns or an s.FH.18 howitzer. This 1/35 scale kit specifically represents a Late Production variant, and it is ready to be loaded up with crew figures and ammunition. As a ‘Late’ vehicle, it possesses the requisite rear flatbed, which is a completely new tooling. This rear compartment is accurately made, with bench seats for the crew and an ammunition locker at the front. The typical wood pattern and construction is suitably rendered. The vehicle kit is bulging with detail, with even the gearbox and engine fully detailed inside the engine compartment. As the first such halftrack tractor from Dragon, this kit will have a distinct appeal to a wide range of modelers, and will doubtlessly inspire some astonishing dioramas from the late-war period!

Dragon’s newest 1/35 kit allows modelers to depict such a Late Production Ausf.H tank fighting in a location such as Normandy. What sets this kit apart from its predecessor is the inclusion of molded Zimmerit. The patterned surface is accurately and realistically rendered, which required the completely new tooling of major parts like the turret, glacis, upper hull, lower hull, rear panel and front/rear fenders. When assembled the tank looks very lifelike, and of course it cancels any need for modelers themselves to undertake the unpleasant and onerous task of adding Zimmerit with putty. Naturally, this kit retains all the accuracy and ease of assembly of the preceding 6300. However, another important improvement is the inclusion of DS tracks for more convenient assembly. This is an extremely user-friendly kit, particularly with all these Zimmerit-coated parts coming ready-made in the box. Dragon’s engineers and kit designers have taken all the pain out of making a genuine Panzer IV Ausf.H Late Production vehicle; instead they offer sheer modeling pleasure!
