HMS Hood (pennant number 51) was the last battlecruiser built for the Royal Navy. One of four Admiral-class battlecruisers ordered in mid-1916, her design – although drastically revised after the Battle of Jutland and improved while she was under construction – still had serious limitations. For this reason she was the only ship of her class to be completed. She was named after the 18th-century Admiral Samuel Hood

DS-39 je bio sovjetski srednji mitraljez, koji je dizajnirao Vasilij Degtjarjov, koji je korišćen tokom Drugog svetskog rata. Rad na dizajnu pištolja počeo je 1930. godine, a prihvaćen je od strane Crvene armije u septembru 1939. godine. Oko 10.000 je napravljeno od 1939. do 1941. godine, ali oružje nije bilo uspešno u službi i njegova proizvodnja je prekinuta nakon nemačke invazije u junu 1941. godine, sa fabrikama pretvorenim u proizvodnju starijih, pouzdanijih ruskih mitraljeza M1910 Makim.

Multiple rocket launchers such as these deliver a devastating amount of explosives to a target area more quickly than conventional artillery, but with lower accuracy and requiring a longer time to reload. They are fragile compared to artillery guns, but are inexpensive and easy to produce. Katyushas of World War II, the first self-propelled artillery mass-produced by the Soviet Union, were usually mounted on trucks. This mobility gave the Katyusha (and other self-propelled artillery) another advantage: being able to deliver a large blow all at once, and then move before being located and attacked with counter-battery fire. Katyusha weapons of World War II included the BM-13 lanser, lakI BM-8 i težak BM-31. Danas se nadimak primenjuje i na novije kamionski montirane sovjetske višestruke raketne bacače – posebno na uobičajene BM-21 – i derivate.

The Nanchang CJ-6 is an aircraft designed and built in China for use by the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) as a basic trainer. The CJ-6 is not a Chinese version of the Yakovlev Yak-18A. Power for the prototype was provided by a Czech-built horizontally-opposed piston engine, but flight testing revealed the need for more power, so a locally manufactured version of the Soviet AI-14P 260 hp radial, the Housai HS-6, was substituted along with a matching propeller, and with that change the CJ-6 was approved for mass production. A total production run estimated at more than 3,000 aircraft supplied CJ-6 aircraft for PLAAF training, as well as for export to countries including Albania, Bangladesh, Cambodia, North Korea, Tanzania, and Sri Lanka.

Drugo vozilo, Ausf F, bio je različit od Ausf C kao što je bio od Ausf A i B. Namenjen kao rezervoar za podršku pešadije, Panzer I Ausf F je imao maksimalnu debljinu oklopa od 80 milimetara (3.15 u) i težak između 18 i 21 tona. Ausf F je bio naoružan sa dva 7.92-milimetarska MG-34s. Trideset su proizvedeni u 1940, a drugi red 100 je kasnije otkazan. Da bi se nadoknadila povećana težina, korišćen je novi 150 konjskih snaga (110 kV) Maibach HL45 Otto motor, omogućavajući maksimalnu brzinu puta od 25 kilometara na sat (15,5 mph). Osam od trideset proizvedenih tenkova poslato je u 1. tenkovsku diviziju 1943. godine i vidjelo borbu u bici kod Kurska. Ostatak je dat nekoliko vojnih škola za potrebe obuke i evaluacije.

Čaj Boing B-17 Leteća tvrđava je četvoromotorni teški bombarder razvijen tridesetih godina prošlog veka za Vazduhoplovni korpus Vojske Sjedinjenih Država (USAAC). U konkurenciji Daglasa i Martina za ugovor o izgradnji 200 bombardera, ulazak Boinga (prototip Modela 299/XB-17) nadmašio je oba konkurenta i premašio specifikacije učinka vazdušnog korpusa. Iako je Boing izgubio ugovor (od Daglasa B-18 Bola) jer se prototip srušio, vazdušni korpus je naručio još 13 B-17 za dalju procenu. Od svog uvođenja 1938, Leteća tvrđava B-17 evoluirala je kroz brojna dizajnerska dostignuća, postavši treći najproizađeniji bombarder svih vremena, iza B-24 i multirola Ju 88.
