«Kronprinz», Duits slagschip uit de Eerste Wereldoorlog

Een model van het merk Icm : de kit Kronprinz – German Battleship – ICM S003.

Slagschip "Kronprinz” served with Kaiser German Navy of WWI period. She belonged to the “König” class ships. “Kronprinz” was commissioned 8.11.1914 and entered the 3rd Squadron of Open See Fleet (Hochseeflotte). The battleship took part in many actions against the British Navy and fought in Battle of Jutland (May 31 – June 1, 1916). She was 4th ship in the battle line and had not hits. On November 5, 1916 “Kronprinz” survived a direct torpedo hit fired by the British submarine J-1. On March, 5, 1917 she was involved in a collision at sea with her sistership – the “Grosser Kurfürst”. After repair “Kronprinz” took part in Moonsund operation at Baltic Sea against Russian Navy in September-October 1917. On June 15, 1918 the ship was renamed as “Kronprinz Wilhelm”. After the armistice was signed, “Kronprinz Wilhelm” was interned by alliances at Scapa Flow, were crew sank her on June 21, 1919. The three-axle off-road passenger car G4 (W31) was designed dy Daimler-Benz in 1934. This car had 8-cylinder engine of 100 (later 110) hp and 6 passenger seats. The car was intended for the German army but it appeared very expansive and too complicated for the mass production. There were produced only 72 G4 cars up to the 1939. They were used mainly by the highest state and military authorities of Germany. Highly detailed chassis, engine and interior. 4 versions decal sheet included. Four figures included.

72,6 mm divisional gun F-22 was designed in KB-92 under V.G. Grabin control and adopted by Red Army in 1936. There were produced 2932 guns F-22. This gun had good ballistic characteristics, but vas too heavy and complicate for the mass productions. In 1941-1942 the large amount of F-22 guns was captured by German army. Highly detailed mounting, cradle and laying mechanisms. Possibility of assembling in combat or transport variants.

De Supermarine Spiteful was a British Rolls-Royce Griffon-engined fighter aircraft. In late 1942, Supermarine designers feared the drag characteristics of the Spitfire’s wing at high Mach numbers (nearing the speed of sound) might become a limiting factor in increasing the aircraft’s high-speed performance. To overcome this, it was decided to produce a new laminar-flow wing, much like that already used on the North American P-51 Mustang, Another change, to improve the ground-handling, was replacing the Spitfire’s narrow-track, outward-retracting undercarriage with a wider-track, inward-retracting system. as it was now substantially different from a Spitfire, the aircraft was named Spiteful.

De F8F Bearcat was de laatste van Grumman's op zuigermotor gebaseerde jagers. Twee XF8F-1 prototypes werden besteld in november 1943, en de eerste hiervan werd gevlogen op 21 augustus 1944. Grumman besloot opnieuw om de krachtigste motor te gebruiken die op dat moment beschikbaar was, de Pratt &Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp - dezelfde motor die zowel hun Hellcat- als Tigercat-ontwerpen had aangedreven. Deze keer werd de motor gemonteerd op het kleinste, lichtste casco dat gebouwd kon worden. Dit resulteerde in een zeer wendbaar, snel vliegtuig met een klimsnelheid die 30% groter was dan de Hellcat.

Duitsland begon na 1933 met de opbouw van het moderne leger. Het belangrijkste onderdeel van de Wehrmacht-motorisering was de productie van drieassige 3-tons vrachtwagens. De meest talrijke van hen was Henschel 33 Zoekertjes. It was in production lines since 1934 to 1942. The modification D1 had 6-cyl. petrol engine. All in all there were produced about 22000 Henschel 33. Some chassis had special bodies. One of them was Kfz.72 van body. These machines were used as transmitters and receivers in the powerful A/B mobile radio stations. Highly detailed chassis, engine and cabin interior. 2 versions decal sheet included.
