Galerie de photos d’un Dodge WC-57, The Dodge WC series was a range of light military trucks produced by Dodge and Fargo during World War II. The series included weapon carriers, telephone installation trucks, ambulances, reconnaissance vehicles, mobile workshops and command cars. They were replaced after the war by the Dodge M-series vehicles. WC was a Dodge model code: W for 1941 and C for half-ton rating. The C code was retained for the ¾ ton and 1½ ton 6×6 Dodges.

The Dodge WC-57 was a 3/4-ton 4×4 command reconnaissance vehicle produced by Dodge during World War II. It was based on the WC-56 model, but equipped with a winch at the front bumper. The WC-57 was used by officers and staff for transportation and communication purposes. It had a special table that allowed them to follow the combat operations on a map. The WC-57 was powered by a Dodge T-214 6-cylinder engine that delivered 92 horsepower. It had a payload capacity of 1,500 pounds and a top speed of 55 mph. The WC-57 was one of the many variants of the Dodge WC series, which also included weapon carriers, ambulances, reconnaissance vehicles and more.
