The Panhard AML is a light armored car that was developed by the French company Panhard in the late 1950s. It was designed to meet the needs of the French Army for a fast and agile reconnaissance vehicle that could be deployed by air. The Panhard AML has a 4×4 wheel drive and a low profile, making it suitable for various terrains and climates. The Panhard AML is armed with either a 90 mm cannon or a 60 mm mortar, both mounted in a rotating turret. The Panhard AML also has a coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun for self-defense. The Panhard AML has been used by many countries around the world, especially in Africa and the Middle East, where it has seen combat in several conflicts. The Panhard AML is still in service today, although it has been replaced by more modern vehicles in some armies.
