Več informacij:

The L-33 Roem is a self-propelled artillery piece that was developed by Israel in the 1970s. It is based on the chassis of the Sherman tank, but with a large enclosed superstructure that mounts a Soltam M-68 155 mm L/33 howitzer. The L-33 Roem was designed to provide long-range fire support for the Israeli Defense Forces, and could fire various types of ammunition, including high-explosive, smoke, illumination and cluster shells. The L-33 Roem had a crew of six: a commander, a driver, a gunner, a loader, an ammunition handler and a radio operator.
The vehicle was powered by a Cummins VT-8-460Bi diesel engine and had a horizontal volute spring suspension (HVSS). The L-33 Roem had a maximum speed of 40 km/h and a range of 300 km. It was equipped with a radio, a periscope and a night vision device for the driver, and a fire control system for the gunner. The L-33 Roem was first used in combat during the Yom Kippur War in 1973, and later participated in the 1982 Lebanon War. It was also exported to Chile and Singapore. About 200 units were produced in total.
