The SdKfz 7 (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 7) was a halftrack for military use used during the Second world War by the Wehrmacht.
The development of the SdKfz 7 can be traced to an application issued in 1934 for the creation of a half-track to eight-tonne (7.87 ton). The vehicle made its first appearance in 1938 and was intended to serve essentially of a tractor for the anti-aircraft gun Flak 88 mm. It could carry up to eight men and a large quantity of material, as well as tow up to 8 000 kg. In general, it was equipped with a winch. It was generally considered very useful.
