Album de 40 walk-around photos of the KV-1 1942

Ce modèle fut nommé kV-1s (s for "skorostnoy," fast). It receives a new transmission, tracks extended to 608 mm, armour returned to 75 mm and a new turret with a dome for the tank commander who can board either the ZIS-5 or the F-34. Production began on August 20, 1942. A first test with an 85 mm gun is attempted with Object 220 weighing 63 tons, followed by Object 223 of 75 tons with a 107 mm F-42. A flamethrower model follows: the kV-8 where the 76.2 mm gave way to 45 mm 20K, which had its "fast" variant, the kV-8s and gave rise to mass production.
