This type of armoured vehicle was based on the chassis of the Czech Panzer 38(t) tank and equipped with a 150 mm sIG 33 infantry gun. It was significantly more successful than the 15 cm sIG 33 (Sf) auf Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf B and the 15 cm sIG 33 auf Fahrgestell Panzerkampfwagen II Bison.
