The Mirage 2000D is a two-seat fighter-bomber aircraft developed by Dassault Aviation for the French Air Force. It is a variant of the Mirage 2000N, which is designed for nuclear strike missions. The Mirage 2000D is optimized for conventional attack with precision-guided munitions, such as laser-guided bombs and air-to-ground missiles. The Mirage 2000D entered service in 1993 and has participated in several conflicts, including the Gulf War, the Kosovo War, the War in Afghanistan, and the Libyan Civil War.
