Galleria fotografica di un TACAM R-2, The TACAM R-2 (Tun Anticar pe Afet Mobil – Self-propelled Anti-tank Gun) was a Romanian tank destroyer used during World War II. It was built by removing the turret of the R-2 light tank and building a pedestal to mount an ex-Soviet 76.2 mm (3.00 in) ZiS-3 field gun in its place. A three-sided fighting compartment was built to protect the gun and its crew. Twenty were built in 1944, but only one is known to exist today. It participated in the Budapest Offensive and the Prague Offensive.

Per saperne di più:

The TACAM R-2 was a Romanian tank destroyer used during World War II. It was based on the chassis of the captured Soviet T-60 light tank and armed with a German 76.2 mm anti-tank gun. The name TACAM stands for Tun Anticar pe Afet Mobil, which means anti-tank gun on mobile carriage. The TACAM R-2 was designed as a stop-gap measure to increase the firepower of the Romanian army, which lacked effective anti-tank weapons. The TACAM R-2 had a crew of three and a thin armor of 7 to 15 mm. It could reach a speed of 40 km/h and had a range of 200 km. The TACAM R-2 entered service in 1944 and saw action in the battles of Târgu Frumos, Iași and Budapest. Only 21 units were built and none survived the war.
