Lla Beechcraft Modèle 18 (ou « Hêtre jumeau », comme on le sait aussi) est un avion léger à roues arrière bimoteurs à voilure basse de 6 à 11 places fabriqué par la Beech Aircraft Corporation de Wichita, au Kansas. Produit en continu de 1937 à novembre 1969 (plus de 32 ans, un record du monde à l’époque), plus de 9 000 ont été construits, ce qui en fait l’un des’l’avion léger le plus utilisé. Vendu dans le monde entier en tant que cadre civil, utilitaire, avion cargo et avion de ligne de passagers sur roues arrière, roues avant, skis ou flotteurs, il a également été utilisé comme un avion militaire.
