Nniiden Eurocopter AS532 Cougar (now Airbus Helicopters H215M) is a twin-engine, medium-weight, multipurpose helicopter developed by France. The AS532 is a development and upgrade of the Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma in its militarized form. (Its civilian counterpart is the Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma.) The AS532 has been further developed as the Eurocopter EC725.

The Eurocopter AS532 Cougar is a twin-engine, medium-weight, multipurpose helicopter developed by France. It is a military version of the Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma, and was introduced in 1990. The AS532 Cougar can perform various roles, such as troop transport, medical evacuation, combat search and rescue, special operations, and VIP transport. It can carry up to 29 troops or 6 stretchers, and has a maximum takeoff weight of 9.35 tonnes. The AS532 Cougar is powered by two Turbomeca Makila 1A1 turboshaft engines, each producing 1,357 kW of power. It has a four-bladed main rotor and a Fenestron tail rotor. The AS532 Cougar has a cruising speed of 277 km/h and a range of 857 km. It can be equipped with various weapons, such as machine guns, rockets, missiles, and cannons. The AS532 Cougar is operated by several countries around the world, including France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Brazil, and Turkey.
