Περισσότερες πληροφορίες:

The Curtiss F11C Goshawk was a naval biplane fighter aircraft that was developed by the Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company in the early 1930s. It was part of a long line of Hawk Series airplanes that Curtiss produced for the US military and for export markets. The F11C Goshawk was designed as a dual-role fighter-bomber that could operate from aircraft carriers or land bases. It had a metal structure with fabric covering, a single Wright radial engine, two fixed forward-firing machine guns, and a bomb load of up to 474 lb.
The F11C Goshawk underwent several modifications and redesignations during its service life, such as the BFC-2 with a semi-enclosed cockpit and the XF11C-3 with a retractable landing gear and a more powerful engine. The F11C Goshawk saw limited success and was soon replaced by more advanced monoplane fighters. It was used by the US Navy, the Chinese Nationalist Air Force, and the Colombian Air Force. Some examples of the export version, known as the Model 68 Hawk III, were also sold to Thailand and Argentina.
