Den Loadstar var en mellemstor konventionel med kort hætte, der blev introduceret i 1962. Da den blev introduceret, havde den en grå grill og "sommerfugl" hætte, men i 1971 blev en vippehætte i ét stykke standard. Førerhuset, der også blev brugt på Fleetstar, var blevet introduceret på A-serien i 1957. Cab-over-motor modeller var også tilgængelige, indtil de blev erstattet af Cargostar i 1971. Loadstar blev brugt til lokal levering, byggeri, landbrug og som semitraktor. Med firehjulstræk blev den også brugt til brandbiler, sneplove og brugsarbejde. Skolemesterchassis blev brugt til sælgers skolebuskroppe. Loadstar-konventionerne blev erstattet af S-serien i 1977.
