Fotogalleri av en Vampyr J28B, The de Havilland DH.100 Vampire was a British jet fighter developed and manufactured by de Havilland. Having been developed during the Second World War to harness the newly developed jet engine, the Vampire entered service with the Royal Air Force (RAF) in 1945. It was the second jet fighter, after the Gloster Meteor, operated by the RAF and its first to be powered by a single jet engine.

The Vampire J28B was a Swedish variant of the British de Havilland Vampire jet fighter. It was introduced in 1949 and served as the first jet aircraft of the Swedish Air Force. The Vampire J28B had a single-engine design with a distinctive twin-boom tail and a low-wing configuration. It was armed with four 20 mm cannons and could carry up to 1,000 kg of bombs or rockets. The Vampire J28B had a maximum speed of 880 km/h and a range of 1,200 km. It was used for air defense, ground attack, and training missions until it was retired in 1956.
