Više informacija:

The North American AT-6D Texan was a single-engine advanced trainer aircraft used by the United States Army Air Forces and other Allied air forces during World War II and the Korean War. The AT-6D was an improved version of the earlier AT-6A and AT-6B models, featuring a more powerful Pratt & Whitney R-1340-AN-1 radial engine with 600 hp, a redesigned cockpit with a clear-view canopy, and a new hydraulic system.
The AT-6D was capable of performing aerobatics, gunnery, bombing, and instrument flying training. It had a maximum speed of 208 mph, a range of 750 miles, and a service ceiling of 21,500 feet. The AT-6D was armed with two 0.30 in machine guns in the nose and one 0.30 in machine gun in the rear cockpit, as well as two 100 lb bombs or six 25 lb practice bombs under the wings. The AT-6D was also known as the SNJ-5 by the United States Navy and Marine Corps, and the Harvard III by the British Commonwealth air forces. More than 10,000 AT-6Ds were built between 1941 and 1945, making it the most numerous variant of the Texan family.
