The MT-LB (Russian: Многоцелевой Тягач Легкий Бронированный, Mnogotselevoy Tyagach Logkiy Bronirovannyi / light multi-purpose armoured towing vehicle) is a Soviet multi-purpose fully amphibious auxiliary armoured tracked vehicle, which was first introduced in the late 1960s. Initially, the vehicle was known as the M 1970 in the west.

The MT-LBV is a tracked amphibious vehicle designed and manufactured by the Soviet Union in the 1970s. It is based on the MT-LB multi-purpose armored vehicle, but has a modified hull with a boat-shaped bow and a water jet propulsion system. The MT-LBV can carry up to 11 passengers and 2 crew members, and can traverse snow, swamp, sand and water. It is equipped with a 7.62 mm PKT machine gun for self-defense, and can also mount various weapons and equipment on its roof. The MT-LBV is used by several countries for reconnaissance, transport, engineering and medical support roles.
