synopsis: May 1940, World War II. The Royal Air Force commandeers all available pilots to fly its Spitfires and repel the Luftwaffe. Geoffrey Wellum became the youngest fighter in the RAF at the age of 18. In the air, the clashes are terrible, and many of his comrades are shot.
