The Su-24M Fencer has been in service with the Russian Air Force and several other air forces since 1974, and has seen combat action in various conflicts, such as the Soviet-Afghan War, the Chechen Wars, the Iran-Iraq War, the Syrian Civil War and the Ukrainian Crisis.
