BA-3 (러시아어 : Broneavtomobil 3)는 1933 년 소련에서 개발 된 중장갑차였으며 1936 년에는 약간 변경된 모델 BA-6이 뒤 따랐습니다. 둘 다 주로 BA-I를 기반으로했으며, 가장 중요한 개발은 T-26 m 1933 및 BT-5 탱크와 동일한 새로운 포탑이었으며 45mm 주포도 장착되었습니다. 1935년 생산이 끝날 때까지 약 180대의 BA-3 차량이 Izhorskij와 Vyksunskij 공장에서 제작되었습니다. The BA-3 armored car was a heavy armored vehicle developed by the Soviet Union in 1933. It was based on a modified Ford-Timken truck chassis and had a welded steel hull with a T-26 tank turret. The main armament was a 45 mm gun, which gave it an advantage over most enemy tanks at the time. The BA-3 also had two 7.62 mm machine guns, one coaxial with the main gun and one in the front hull. The BA-3 had a four-man crew and a top speed of 63 km/h on roads. It could also be fitted with auxiliary tracks on the rear wheels to improve its off-road performance.
The BA-3 was used in various conflicts in the 1930s and 1940s, such as the Spanish Civil War, the Battle of Khalkhin Gol, the Winter War, and the early stages of World War II. It was later replaced by the improved BA-6 and BA-10 models, which had better mobility and armor. The BA-3 was one of the most successful Soviet armored cars of its era and influenced the design of later vehicles.
