Adam Makos er en journalist, historiker og redaktør af militært tidsskrift, Tapperhed. I sine femten års arbejde på det militære område, Makos har interviewet utallige veteraner fra anden VERDENSKRIG, Korea, Vietnam, og i dag krige.
